Mount Kailash is in Tibet which is under Chinese rule, and we have to take special permission to visit the place. China allows only a limited number of Indian pilgrims to Mount Kailash every year.

I only believe that Shiv Sena should direct its energy and spirit towards launching an attack on China to liberate Mount Kailash area from it and make it accessible to all Indians. :)

And even if Taj Mahal is some old temple then do we really care? I mean look at the temples which we know are temples, there are so many temples in Mandi (Himachal) built by Pandvas that need to be taken care of, instead Shiv Sena cares about a single temple that is already taken good care of by Indian Govt, and world.

I just hope that at some point of time Indian politicians grow up, we seriously dont want cribbing 50 yr old kids ruiling the govt.

Well said Mr. Paulraj.. I think those people can look into the recent Chinese invasion in Sikkim. It seems our government keeps mum on the subject. That is a part of India and they are Indians too. Please help them while making futile attempt at Taj Mahal.

Looks like some shiv senik got that email as well which claims to have done thorough research into how the Taj Mahal is actuallly some ancient Shiv mandir. blah blah blah. even if it was...how does it mattter?????????

Simple logic. Raj Thackeray was Shiv Senik some years back, right? but now he is an MNS leader! that sums it all up...

you cant always keep talking of the history of things, look at what its present is and do whatever is needed to preserve such monuments, not destroy them.

Yes it is an ancient Shiva temple that Moses ordered to be built on the banks of river Jordan. Then centuries passed and it was destroyed many times when finally the jehadi’s led by some Islamic caliph in the dark ages rebuilt it. You can see the distinct architecture of the Taj Mahal inspired from this classic design. Then some time during Shah Jehan’s reign, the emperor bought it brick by brick (or block by block) and placed it in Agra. There are many claimants of the Taj Mahal. It also includes the Palestinians and the Israelis and the Christians alike.
