Security is a concern of not only the devloping nations but of developed nations too. I’ve been using Skype frequently now. Security has been my concern too. But I know that Skype uses 256b encryption. And it uses only standard cryptographic methods to protect the content transmitted over the P2P network. So Skype is working its way, and for me its good.

To say that VOIP it still not succesfull is the same as tos say that Skype,Vonage,and others failed. I dont think so.
