Was it gender vs race? Or gender vs gender? It is a question that is dividing America after the marathon, bitter and close fight that Hillary put up against Barack Obama, the first black man to run for president in America.

Hillary’s gender had nothing to do with her loss. Hillary started the campaign as the most divisive politician in the Country (aside from Bush). Everyone already knew her and her negatives were consistently rated between 55% and 60%. Hillary lost because she is Hillary. She has a controversial history, the personality of a tree, and was running against the most charismatic and fresh person to run for President since Kennedy.

Acknowledging defeat sometimes is a noble act. Why should Hillary insist in running if she feels she will lose in the end? This has nothing to do with gender or race. She is just using her brains of accepting her fate that the U.S. presidency is not for her. It will be a big blow on her face if she pursues her candidacy and later gets a low vote turnover. At least, she can rest now and do her thing in Senate.

That is completely taking the situation to a different level. She was defeated fair and square in front of the entire world, and besides in my opinion, her ideas and so called ’plans’ for the better of America were the reason why majority of Americans didn’t support her. A true politician of the people never rely on controversies or publicity gimmicks for gaining people’s interest. Maynard and Steve said right that Hillary ”IS” Hillary and that acknowledgment of defeat is essential for human growth. Now only if Hillary read this or understood this finally !

Number of reasons can be brought out for Hillary’s defeat, bottom line being democracy made her lost. Further than that, I wish not to go, feminists have their own opinion which frankly makes no difference now after the result has been declared. This is just stretching the issue.
